We see if we’re a good fit for one another. We prefer both parents present whenever possible — usually a one-hour meeting at a public space like a coffee shop.
We cover the scope of our practice, sign a contract, and learn about your preferences and options for your birth.
We get specific about the comfort measures most likely to help you, and practice some of them together as your birth day nears.
Continuous, hands-on support from active labor through about an hour after your baby is born — with your backup doula available if needed.
A home visit in the first couple of weeks after birth to talk through your experience, answer questions, and point you to further resources.
Every package includes a primary doula (Laura or Lindsay, your choice) plus backup coverage from the other should anything ever prevent your primary doula from attending.
